Strategic China rollout of preschool IP “Tippi T-Rex”
As part of a hybrid digital-first distribution strategy, Tippi T-Rex is now available in China across a wide range of platforms and Smart TV ecosystem, including Youku, Tencent Video, iQIYI, Sohu, Xiaomi, Konka, FunTV, Baidu Smart Screen, Hisense, TCL, Coocaa, Huawei, NutTV, XGIMI, vivo, Migu, Wasu and LeTV, as well as several regional IPTV and DVB services. The series follows a freemium model combining free episodic access with subscription-based full viewing availability, enabling broad reach and scalable monetization across connected TV and mobile environments.
The agreement brings together Spanish animation studio Ánima Kitchent and Indonesian studio Mocca Studio in a co-production model for the preschool property, alongside Chinese distribution partner 24 Bridges, subsidiary of Bridges Culture Transmission. Under the deal, 24 Bridges holds exclusive distribution rights in China for the 2D series (52×5’), four original songs, and 14 short-form episodes, and is also responsible for consumer products licensing across the territory.
Tippi T-Rex follows Tippi, a curious four-year-old Tyrannosaurus living with her family in a contemporary prehistoric world. Together with her parents and older brother Ryan, she navigates everyday adventures filled with humour, discovery, and emotional learning moments tailored to preschool audiences.
